It certainly could. There are other projects that are starting to kick things into gear. We will see what comes out of it all.
It is difficult right now because the price of HIVE versus fiat is low. This decreases user activity which is exactly what is needed to stimulate more users. That is why it is great to see Leofinance take such a position of lead. Hopefully, it will attract thousands of user which can help give things a kickstart.
