RE: Daily Crypto Markets Live Blog: Happy Bitcoin Legal Tender Day (09/07/21)

Some other countries where politicians called for Bitcoin adoption. In most cases, it's only tweets published by politicians of said countries but I guess that's how it starts.

I havent heard any news out of Miami about either MiamiCoin or the quest to buy Bitcoin with the city Treasury.

That is something else to look up. Mayor Suarez is surprisingly quiet of late.

There's a website you can go to to learn about MiamiCoin; what it does, how to get it, etc.

It looks like San Francisco is next....although why anyone would ever want to buy anything from that place is beyond me.

"In San Francisco, crypto buys you!"

San Francisco is horrible. I don't know why they would want to start up there when you can get away with shop lifting if its under a certain threshold. I don't see why they would care.

Haha is it really that bad? I only know it from movies and pop culture.

And the 49ers... hmm yea I can see it now

Yea I am surprised that he is so quiet. I would think there would be some articles about the various companies moving in.

I looked. Nothing really written about it in 3 weeks.

Very odd. Makes me wonder what is going on.

Not sure how to look up where the coin is trading, if it even is.

okcoin.com seems to be the only place to trade it. Didn't bother looking up price. It looks like it's set up mostly to mine it using STX.

Have you heard much being mentioned about Bitcoin by the Brazilian government?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Not a peep. Of course I live in the north US so not many people squawking about Brazilian politics around me. I'll keep my ears open though.... :-)

I haven't, but I'll dig into it.

The political situation here is a shit show recently and a lot of dirt on the president is being unveiled, so that's all the news is talking about for now.

Maybe there are Bitcoin talks happening, but they aren't making news. I'll investigate

Well...it starts off small and then it balloons into something bigger. Let's just see more of them adopt it and maybe if crypto mining is great for tax revenue, we might see more acceptance by the government.
