Well, it had to happen one day. I just didn't expect my rather harmless Justice League Review to be the cause. I am not sure if there is even a human on the platform using @leovoter (the first culprit), but @niallon11 (the second culprit) seems to be an actual user. Maybe he can explain why the 0.03 LEO I was going to earn with the post were way too much.
It is maybe because I linked a clip from the movie in my review. If that is the case I am really proud that Hollywood got defended against an evil parasite like me.
We live in an age, where a downvote on a post is not a disagreement on rewards but a declaration of war and I would really like to know why some Irish twat is thinking I deserve to be exiled from the platform.

There is no declaration of war. There was I think a 5% downvote for a movie review on Leo. That was just a tap on the shoulder to say that it is not the appropriate place for it.
There are multiple communities and a tribe for movie content where it is a lot better suited.
guess I will take it as such. I would still prefer a comment since a downvote doesn't let me know what your complaint is.

mhhh, I usually just use related and generic tags. Maybe 'hive' for this post was a little misfitting, but where do you see me abusing tags? Genuine question. The tribe tags I use were recommended to me by @trumpman and as far I know they are open for all content.

OK, I thought LeoFinance was kind of open for all content, just with a focus on financial content. Guess I will just use vanilla hive for most of my content in the future.
Thanks for the answer, but as far as I can tell downvotes are used to mark users that are not welcomed on the platform and it is rarely a one off thing.

welp the cinetv project was one of the reasons I actually wrote my review. Like I said to Marky, I didnt think Leo was that stingy about the type of content on the platform. But well, it is not like I cant take my stuff elsewhere.

You don't strictly speaking need to use their front end. You need to select the community when you post on say PeakD.
yeah, but I dislike using multiple frontends. Guess I will just stick to using more hive directly. I just wonder if I want to continue staking LEO then.

I always thought it was spammy how the LeoFinance front end always puts "posted from LeoFinance" at the end of every post. It reminds me of the iPhones. You could become a Proof of Brain dolphin or whale. It's a new community. The founder started with 1 POB issued to self, and the rest POBs were created out rewards for posting, voting and curating. It's truly appropriately named and the community is not stuck on any particular subject matter.

I already know ProofOfBrain. One of the politics people I read is the Tzar of Midwits, a title within the POB community. I have also 650 staked already. While I like the name/idea I dont see much else at this point, on the other hand we have CubFinance and ProjectBlank for Leo.
