Delegating Tasks/Responsibility?

in LeoFinance2 years ago

imagine you're a freelance writer who earns $20 per hour and works eight hours daily everything seems to be going great until on Monday morning as you are getting ready to start your day your laptop malfunctions in an effort to save money you try to fix it yourself you use your phone to research the problem become a member of forums where you ask for help and spend the entire day banging your head against the wall needless to say all of this typing using your phone isn't exactly easy but you don't let that discourage you the next day goes by as well but fortunately you managed to fix your laptop by 10 p.m. then go to bed exhausted but proud it turned out the problem was actually a pretty simple one but due to your lack of experience and improper working conditions it took quite a while to fix things was this a good approach from an economic perspective no it wasn't you see by investing two working days worth of time to fix your laptop you kind of paid 320 dollars for this had you taken your laptop to the first available expert he would have let's say charge 50 bucks and gotten the problem solved the same day in other words by having your laptop back the same day you would have been able to earn an extra two hundred and seventy dollars compared to the do-it-yourself approach even if the expert would have only given you back the laptop the next day you would have still been a hundred and ten dollars ahead as mentioned in another video time is money and since delegation saves time the conclusion should be obvious
