The same thing happens with youtubers and rich people in Spain. I have seen that many famous youtubers who earn a lot of money and are Spanish, have moved to Andorra to avoid paying the high taxes in Spain. I don't blame them, the tax rate is too high in Spain, I think it is around 40% for people who generate more than 300 thousand euros per year.

No los culpo, el porcentaje de impuestos es demasiado alto en España, creo que ronda el 40% para personas que generen mas de 300 mil euros anuales.

Yep. That is what happens when you make your money via a computer screen (and a camera). You can do that anywhere as long as the Internet exists.

That is something the meatheads in office do not understand. As people relocate to the tax havens (which is a boom for those areas), they are going to leave huge holes in the local budgets they left behind.

Exactly, the same way we work. Everything is online, in fact I go out alone from my house to buy food hahaha.

Exacto, de la misma manera en que trabajamos nosotros. Todo es por internet, de hecho salgo solo de mi casa a comprar comida jajaja.

It is a process that is going to gain steam over the next 5-10 years. More people will be switching to online "paths". I believe crypto is obviously going to be at the core of that.

As we forge towards the Metaverse, much of what we know about society is going to diminish completely.

Yes, the adoption of cryptos is imminent. And now with all this Defi and NFT stuff they are gaining even more popularity. There will probably be many ways to make money online through cryptocurrencies and people will dedicate themselves to that path. In fact, to give you an example, if all Venezuelans worked in Hive they would earn more money than they do in their physical jobs due to the country's economy.

Our demographics on HIVE show a very large Venezuelan presence. This has been true for quite some time.

Thanks to marketing efforts of @enrique89, @victoriabsb; there is a large membership of latino folks.

I believe this would be true. From the few I see on here, they are making a great deal more money.

How long until others wake up to what is taking place? It doesnt seem that this is spreading any quicker there than it is in Nigeria. A few see the light but most do not.

the main thing that is keeping a lot of Venezuelans to join Hive is not lack of knowledge about our blockchain or Crypto in general is more on the technological level, to start with have one of the worse internet services in the whole continent, that is for the ones who do have the service most dont even enjoy the internet connection, some dont even have a PC or a smart phone to connect and to be honest the other thing keeping a lot of people out of Hive too is how difficult the platform seems for a new user specially one with not much education, as @sgt-dan says there are a few venezuelans trying to help marketing Hive we even manage to put the hash tag of the #hivechat in español on the trending topics every single week on twitter on Thursdays nights.

Some do onboarding master class like @ilazramusic and @laloretoyya and some even run whatsapp groups for onboarding new users with personalize mentorships like rutablockchain, but true be told some users join and dont stick around and not because of Hive but because they lose the internet connection or dont have money to pay for the mobile data plan to stay connected and you guys know how in Hive to succeed you need to be constant.

It is a shame that there are so many obstacles to the people of Venezuela joining HIVE and its projects. For countries that are having severe economic issues, HIVE is a life-changing experience.

The problem of the complications experienced by some of joining and managing their accounts has been discussed by many.

Due to security when it comes to one's crypto holdings, keys are very important. As you know, this really can not be simplified.

The issue of internet accessibility is indeed quite a hurdle.

Hopefully, in the future, Venezuelan political climate and investing in the Nation's improving the infrastructure will help in this issue.

I hope you and yours are well. We appreciate you stopping by the LEO Market Talk. G-D bless you and yours!

Thanks for the information. Hopefully it is something that, collectively, we can start to address.

I noticed some in here talking about how they werent on because they lost internet connection for 12 hours.

I see the Spanish community come online in the mornings, don't know how many are from Venezuela. Followed by (or is nit preceded by?) India and South Asia. It's interesting to see that waves of countries come onine as each time zone rolls by.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LOL yes time zones are fun from a mental perspective.

I am glad we have so many from different parts of the world. If we could get a push in those areas, we could see a radical difference from where we stand right now.

It is hard to get people to join here. We need to keep promoting out success cases.

Very clear and in case I have read that places like Bali in Indonesia are turning out to be a paradise for these workers and digital creators

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

When I joined Steemit in 2017, Bali seemed to be a hotspot fro crypto-related digital nomads. I always wondered why? Obviously the weather played a part, but could it have been cheaper to live there?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am not 100% certain but there were certain points in favor that by chance digital nomads chose that geographical point, one of them is that it is a country that is under development. The properties are attractively priced to take as a long-term investment

The person who made the tutorials that I watched before I joinned Steemit, filmed them in Bali where he lived. He was a British expat and that is how I learned to blog correctly on the blockchain.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I heard about steemit years ago and I abandoned it because at that time I did not understand how something could have such a complicated password, I was used to simple characters for easy access, I did not understand that the greater the complexity the greater the security of my funds!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You had a similar issue to me as I couldn't understand why some keys were public and some not. But there were some excellent tutorial videos around at the time which helped a lot.
