Yeah, I've noticed that too in group chats. A small nudge from someone in charge and suddenly everyone's picking sides. Crazy how fast those little camps form!
Yep, once two loud voices plant a flag, the conformity kicks in and status signaling takes over, and the chat turns into an echo room fast :(
The only thing that defnitely helps is slowing the thread and naming the common goal early, so its harder for camps to harden.
Totally, slowing things down and refocusing on a shared goal can stop those echo chambers from forming. It’s like hitting the brakes before the drama spins out of control
