That's just because the news doesn't cover Monero. It's suppressed on social media, and never gets covered by the likes of CoinDesk or Cointelegraph. It's also delisted from most major exchanges, yet is still on the rise! People are realizing they need privacy now more than ever. I mean USDT and USDC are about to become the CBDCs, so my bet is a private one!

Yeah agree, but isnt the problem to be able to utilize the monero if its not on any exchange and guess even fewer products built around it?

There are a few DEXs built around it and several wallets, some like CakeWallet that has a built in exchange, but I don't even need that. There are marketplaces and businesses that accept it. I just bought an eBay gift card on CakePay with it to buy another computer to mine more of it. I can use it just like I can use really any other crypto, accept it's completely private and mining is actually decentralized with the use of CPUs on the ASIC resistant RandomX algo. Just takes a bit of research. I have been involved with $XMR since I started in crypto in 2017, even before I came to Hive (Steem).

EDIT: It's also the prime currency for all dark web markets, and the most used in commerce. Well that is until this new stablecoin law in the US, but at this point I look at USDT and USDC as CBDCs.
