Today marks the 33rd anniversary of the 8888 uprising in Burma.
The 8888 uprising was the uprising of the Burmese people on 8/8/1988, led by politically active students and youths, against the military dictatorship.
At that time, the war terrorist group killed many Burmese people.
As a result of the uprising, the dictator was ousted and elections were held in 1990.

The National League for Democracy (NLD) won the election by a landslide with more than 90 percent of the vote.
However, NLD representatives led by Aung San Suu Kyi were unable to attend parliament and were detained by the militant group.

Since then, the people of Burma have been living under a military dictatorship without the full assistance of the United Nations and other major world powers.
Sanctions imposed by the world's most powerful nations have no effect on the military, and the people are left to live in economic poverty.

In 2003, Nobel Peace Prize-winning NLD chairwoman Aung San Suu Kyi and other political leaders were released from prison by the military.
Then, led by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, they toured the country and gave political speeches.
Meanwhile, Suu Kyi's convoy was assassinated by a mob near Depayin.
The Almighty are evil people formed by the terrorist army.
Many political leaders, including Aung San Suu Kyi, were later arrested and detained.

In 2007, the Saffron Revolution, led by monks, erupted in Burma with rising oil prices.

Burma was hit by Cyclone Nargis in 2008, killing hundreds of thousands of people.
The tragedy was ignored by the military dictator, who ratified the 2008 constitution with a show of popular support.
According to the 2008 constitution, an election was held in 2010.
The Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), which contested the election because of the NLD's inability to run in the election, won, with Thein Sein as president.

In 2012, NLD leaders, including Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi, were released, winning 43 of the 45 seats up for grabs in the by-elections.
Then in the 2015 general election, Suu Kyi's NLD party won more than 90 percent of the vote.

Between 2015 and 2020, the people of Burma enjoyed a taste of democracy.
Myanmar's politics; The economic situation has also improved slightly.
The Covid-19 pandemic, which took place at the end of 2019, was also successfully prevented.

The 2020 election was held transparently between the Covid-19 pandemic.
In that election, the NLD won a landslide victory with more than 95% of the vote.
However, just before midnight on February 1, 2021, before the victorious delegates entered parliament, the militant group seized control of Suu Kyi and several other victorious forces and seized power.

It has been more than six months since the military coup.
However, the terrorist dictator has not yet been able to seize power.
No country has yet endorsed a terrorist army as a government.
During this time, the militant group killed around 1,000 protesters.
There are thousands of detainees and around 300,000 refugees.
Terrorist forces have also used the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic as a biological weapon, killing thousands.

In this situation, we, the people of Burma, who love the truth, continue to oppose the military dictatorship, believing that we are there for us.

Many Burmese now have access to health care. They are facing many difficulties in earning a living.
Led by freed political leaders, the National Unity Government (NUG) was formed and is seeking diplomatic recognition in the all over the world.
Local political activists are protesting peacefully against the militant group and forming the People's Defense Force (PDF) to fight militarily.

What can I do in such a situation?
I also took part in peaceful protests.
A small amount of money was provided in some areas where assistance was needed.
I want to be more involved, but I have less ability.
So, I'm embarrassed.

Here are some suggestions on how to look or get an appointment for antique items. I need help.

  • Should I open a Fund Account at HIVE Blockchain and ask for help?

  • Will you help me if I open a new Fund Account?

  • Should I just ask for help from this account?

  • What can be done to help the health and food needs of the people of Myanmar?

Please give advice and help, friends.

Thank you for everything.

Tin Aung Soe
