The batter steps into the batters box and the first pitch is throw. The first at bat and the 20th of the game look the same.
Got it. Do they flip a coin to decided who goes first or something like that?
Home team is in the field first, visiting team hits first.
That way the home team gets the last at bat...it is called last licks.
