Diving through the information that we have available on the internet and after watching a video of @thecryptolark on youtube, I have found this super useful website, Cryptomiso.
This website offers an observation and ranking service regarding the development that crypto projects have, for example you can see the number of commits that a certain blockchain project has on github during the last 12 months.
Thus, for example, we can see that the development in BITCOIN is continuous and, although the number of commits has dropped a bit lately, its development is stable over time.
On the other hand, if we take a look at other similar projects such as LITECOIN we can see that the blockchain is almost dead or with an almost non-existent "pulse" of development:
Although I already knew it, EOS is DEAD and this graph shows it:
Just like BITSHARES, its development and evolution ended on December last year:
I have not found HIVE in the rank, I suppose that, somehow, we must "register" there so that the service recognizes us, maybe our friends from @blocktrades do it although I am sure there is some reason for it, but I have found STEEM... And its development in the last year is AWFUL, 1 commit in 12 months?
What is this website for?
If you are thinking of buying crypto, it is not bad that you take a look at whether there is development or evolution in the blockchain in question... for example, is someone able to buy EOS knowing that nobody does anything there?
Are you interested in private cryptos? Well, you will be interested to know that ZCASH has more development than MONERO today... that does not mean that it does not have it or that one is better than another, but it gives you an idea of which one is evolving...
If you were waiting for prices to drop to buy that "gemm" that escaped you a few years ago, maybe it's worth taking a look at its development and see "what's cooking" or, rather, if "something is cooking there".

It is very reassuring to see that small caps like Gridcoin are experiencing more development than big names like EOS.
Wow those old legendary coins are falling by the wayside it seems. This bear market will really wipe out some of the less useful tokens. I never liked EOS at all, too centralized. But then Hive is a similar project, originally created by Dan Larimer, the same dev as EOS. Bitcoin is the only true legend it seems.
DAN was the creator of STEEM but he disappeared 2 years after its inception... same happened with EOS and BTS.
Fortunately HIVE has more developers and people taking care of.
That's good to hear that the devs are doing well on Hive now. Life is more like a marathon than a sprint lol.
I think this is a cool tool to make use of to see what's cooking out there. Will be checking it out and maybe find out requirement for Having Hive listed.

A good way to know variation and changes of any currency, but is there a possibility to study currencies in the long term about their prices?
Of course, that's called TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
Sunny boy is not doing any work on "the other chain" much shock very surprise :)
It's worth looking at the developments of the coins with Github commits.
We must also be aware that this can only tell one aspect of the future of the coin.
