Before I get to the final results, a quick shout out to say that (in keeping with my plan to set different beneficiaries for 3 of my 4 monthly Power Up Day posts) this is the one of the four that I get part of the rewards from. I have this set as 80% to myself, and 20% of this payout will go to my numbers man extraordinaire, @abh12345!
And now to the business at hand - a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this month's #HivePUD, either through powering up, posting, offering prizes, or spreading the word. Altogether we had:
- 116 posts on the 1st tagged with #HivePUD and/or #HPUD.
- 101 people who powered up and posted on the 1st using #HivePUD and/or #HPUD, with 55 of those qualifying for prizes.
- 14,181.663 Hive (worth approx $8,792.63 USD) powered up from Hive Power Up Day participants during the hours of the first via their local time.
- 51,899 Hive (worth approx $32,177.38 USD) powered up by 393 people during the 24 hour UTC time set to earn @hivebuzz badges (check out their Feedback from the October 1st Hive Power Up Day post for more info).
All in all, while the amounts were down this month compared to last month's total, overall we had some great participation and some new faces joining in, so I can definitely say it was another wicked awesomesauce Power Up Day, my Hive friends!

Well @traciyork I didn't get to the main pool because I didn't meet the criteria of 100HP (was at 25HP) now I'm 100+ because I was determined not to fall short next time.

I honestly had no idea where I might sit as it was my first #HivePUD - I just saw your post about it and had been planning to power up a good amount anyway and thought it was a great initiative so did all on that day (er... plus stretched it and did a bit more - cos hey, why not!)
Also though - as someone quite new on Hive, I've learned quite a bit from reading your posts and participating - it's interesting to see the stats of what people typically do in terms of powering up and get more of a feel for what different Hive Power numbers mean in practice.
Anyway - I must get out of my chair now to do a little dance! I have diarised to try and participate in Power Up Day every month (though I will likely struggle to match this months amount!)
