We have our truly interesting experiment running in the IP Address Guide following different rebase tokens. We have tried to include the most important, famous, and promising projects, and we have also had to make quite a lot of changes along the way. In fact, after publishing our results for the period between January 5th and January 12th, we received lots of comments and feedback which has led us to include four new tokens in the experiment (Invictus on Solana, Fantohm on Fantom, Exodia on Fantom, and Redacted Cartel on Ethereum).
So far, the numbers have been quite depressing and if you take a look at the graph below, you will actually see that only one out of the projects is actually in profit after five weeks. That is very different than what we imagined before the experiment launched, but I guess that is the purpose of the experiment to see which tokens perform well in both a bear and a bull market, and which teams will keep working and developing, even though it is Christmas and the market is bearish (in general).
It shouldn't come as a surprise that Wonderland is among the top-performing tokens, and so is OlympusDAO. But, far better than all other tokens we can find HectorDAO which is THE ONLY project currently in profit.

The numbers are quite depressing...
To be honest, the numbers and the percentages are quite depressing if you check the image above. But, nobody said that profit will happen overnight. The question is rather - which protocols will make it and remain alive for a year and more? Even though they are all reducing their APYs, you will most likely get in profit sooner or later with all of these considering the gigantic APYs.
Originally the experiment was supposed to last for 4 weeks, but we quickly understood that this has to last for a much longer time in order to be valid. So, the experiment is running and it will keep on running for many more months for sure!
