Thank you for sharing your personal story here. If that was indeed your midlife crisis you will make it to a sweet old age eventually ;<)

It sure seems like you're on the right track.

One of my favorite words of wisdom are:

"Change is the only constant in life"

It's funny though how many try to resist it, thereby making life more difficult.

    It's funny though how many try to resist it, thereby making life more difficult.

    My country seems to have a lot of these people. They yearn for "good ole days" that were never really that great. They want to keep a status quo that causes us all to fall further behind and as you say "make life more difficult" if not unbearable.
