Of course it is still very embedded in our subconscious about "time is money".
The problem for some people is how to strictly regulate the fulfillment of needs and desires. It's between deciding to pay for something we really need or paying for it because we want something when we don't need it.
When we have money, some of us are tempted and without us realizing it, the money that should be a savings just disappears. True, it's only 1 cent, but when multiplied by time, it becomes a large amount and that's where time becomes a very valuable payment, time is money.
