RE: An egg, an egg... My kingdom for an egg....

Dont stock up too much! Or how much is ok. I felt guilty filling my cart for my family of 6 before this insanity. People would always make comments about my cart? WTH
I live rural and would only go into town 2 times a week. Now do I need to go daily and just buy one of everything? Will that feed my family of 6?

Sort:

Get a light jacket or t-shirt made that says "Welcome to Blah Blah Blah, B&B" then when people ask just point, at the shirt logo, but most will not even bat an eye if they see you in an official looking kind of B&B shirt or jacket.

Good Idea thanks. I will see what i can come up with.

Alternatively, just don't give a fuck and keep buying...

Stock up on flour and yeast. Bread goes a long way, and it's very cheap.(and easy to make. I haven't eaten store bought bread for going on two years now)

We do sourdough and yeast breads. We found a wonderful donut recipe and we are using it four our yeast bread recipe.
We also have been grinding our own flour but lately been buying some Ultra-Unifine Organic We don't have the capability for that UNIFINE product.

We just have the country living grain mill with the manual handle. I have the motor kit too but if I need to I can crank it out by hand.

Only been about 8 months for us on store bought bread,We quit buy in August of last year.
