Yes. But you knew that already. Hey, by the way, how do you cross-post? My guess is via some website app service thing. I kind of like it but what are the differences and similarities between reblogging (sharing) and cross-posting? Better yet, I mean what are the benefits of cross-posting?

peakd gives you an option to cross-post.

It's "hidden" under the 3dots.

I like to cross-post certain things because the rewards automatically go to the person who wrote the original post (and allows fans to double vote).

So, if I cross-post your work, you get the rewards and extra exposure on another community.

I sometimes cross-post my own stuff just because it's an easy way to get content on "deepdives" and "freespeech" without going into the editor.

If you re-blog it only shows on your personal blog, not a community.

I re-blog my own community posts so they show under my main blog.

On Hive Blog, there are two tabs, all your posts go to the posts tab, including community posts, and when I reblog, then it shows up in the main tab. In regards to how reblogging works, I think we both agree that is how reblog works.

In regards to cross-posting, are you saying you can press the button to reblog but to a community? Can you only cross-post a post one time? And I think you can cross-post your own posts and other people's posts. I like this concept of cross-posting.

If you hit the 3dots, it gives you an option marked "cross-post" and then lets you select a community. You can do this to as many posts as you like and you can cross-post the same post as many times as you like to as many communities as you wish and yes you can cross-post your own posts as well as any other post, even if it is more than seven days old.

You have to sign-in to peakd to cross-post.

That is a great feature. That gives PeakD an advantage. I wonder if Ecency has cross-posting as well or not.
