Hello, friends of #weekend-experiences, the Christmas holidays have come to an end and with it also the decorations that flood the streets of the center of my city, which is why yesterday we decided to take one last walk to contemplate the lights and finally close end-of-year vacations.
At first, we had only gone with the idea of enjoying an ice cream, but that soon turned into a walk of almost two hours through the center with Leo running happily from one side to the other watching the lights and the figures. To our good fortune, the place was almost empty due to the school vacations having come to an end, unlike last time when it was flooded with tourists.
Taking advantage of the small number of people, I was finally able to take pictures of all the illuminated figures that were there, thus completing my collection of photos of this edition of the Christmas Village. The past times I attended, there were too many visitors to take pictures freely, plus we could walk quietly without being surrounded by hundreds of people.
It was a very pleasant walk that besides distracting us also served for Leo to say goodbye to his vacation, since today we start the school routine again and with it, we return to the monotony of the working days.
Although I will miss the Christmas decorations and walking through the illuminated streets downtown, what I will definitely not miss will be the closed streets, the excess of tourists and the overpricing in all the stores downtown. Now we will be able to enjoy a little peace and quiet, at least until November, when the Christmas Village will return again, now in its 2023 version.

Nye to Christmas, I've ever loved it's experience and I must say that your shots are incredible moreso, the decorations are also exquisite as it gave your street a professional touch of the season. We've seen several similar posts about this Christmas village now, I guess this will be the last one.
Yes, It was a massive event, it took me four visits to see it all because it took over all downtown, we even had a parade last Thursday. Luckily the event is over and peace and quiet are back in my small town.
