Hope you had a wonderful week, so let's do something exciting during the weekend!
Or maybe your week was not as you expected, but everything will be ok, so, again, let's do something during the weekend, to get energy and motivation, to get prepare for the coming!
What do you usually do to relax on weekend?
Thousand years till now, humanity always come back to the mother earth to heal all the pain in mind.
Once coming to the nature, all your senses would reach the most instinct in subconscious mind, just forget all the busy and mordern life, just come back to the "humanity".
Living in Da Nang is one of the best thing in my life. Da Nang is one of the most developed, modern cities in Viet Nam, but around the skyscrapers is the nature, with long coastline, and the terrain of mountain surrounding. In the summer, almost DaNang people go to the beach in the early morning to do excercise, some people run along the beach, some others swim, or play volleyball...
And on the weekend, Hai Van mountain is a favourite spot for camping for young people.
I usually go camping with a group of 8, even we work in different jobs, stay in different area, and have never met before, we just get to know each other via each camping trip. We just meet once a week or every two weeks, not so many, but every times we gather, we all have wonderful time together, we eat, drink, sing and talk all night, by the fire... When you have something in common, it is easy to make new friends.
Our favourite spot for camping is the top of Hai Van mountain, from here, we may see the panorama of Da Nang city. Also, we may witness the sunrise from the ocean, and the pictureque view of the city full of light.
Because we work in diverse of field, with different time, we go seperatly and gather later at a camping point. Who come early will bring the tent to set up, the other will prepare food and drink. I am usually the first one who come and choose the ground to set our tents.
One of the most important part while camping in the nature is fire, not only for cooking and warming in the foggy night, the fire always brings to us a feel of safety, and help us get close to each others. So after setting up the tents, we walk around to gather woods to set the fire.
In a cold night, sitting closely around the fire, and share about what you did and how you felt after a week, all your stress and axiety would be released.
Sometime we don't need any advices, we just need someone to listen to our story, but in the society nowaday, it's not easy to looking for someone listen to you. I feel grateful to be with my friends.
For the special event, instead of celebrate in a modern restaurant, have you ever try while camping?
Singging "Happy birthday" by a camping fire. My brother, he did not have any idea about what we prepared for him. Just a birthday cake and some candles, but I'm sure it is a special feeling you cannot have anywhere else.
Sorry my bro, because of the bumpy road, the birthday cake had fallen down twice 😂 I was quite suprised that the cake still kept its round shape :))
New year's Eveee 31/12/2021 - 01/01/2022. This is how we celebrate <3
Because of the Covid, in our city, there was no Countdown party or fireworks. So that afternoon, we packed up and went to the mountain.
That was a foggy and rainy night, and the weather was cold. We sat around the fire to drink some whisky to warm up, and talked about our achivements last year, and shared our plan for the coming year.
And magically, at around 23:50. the rain stopped, even it was still foggy and windy, but that was way better, we set up the camera. That was a wonderful memory. You may see on the photo, outside was the fog and darkness, but everyone were laughing.
While camping, in the morning after, we get up early, sometime just to sit still, wait for the sunrise.
Few minutes later, the sun come up from the ocean, you are the person touching the first sunlight of the day... The first light of the day flow along the forest and shine reflect the ocean, and far away is the city, where people are still their weekend sleep.
A new day cannot start without coffee. Sometime I don't need breakfast, but I always need a cup of coffee every morning. So we set the fire and boil some water to drip the coffee. Enjoying some coffee with the warm sun, that's when the forest wakes up, the trees are rustling and the birds are singging... That is the perfect end for our relaxing weekend <3

I used to come here with my pals and enjoy the sensation of smoking a canabis while playing the guitar. It'd be perfect for a camping vacation, hahaa.
