Tastes and preferences in life can change due to circumstances or learning and evolution.
When I was young, much more than now, it was unthinkable for me not to live in a city, although not in a very crowded space, but I always imagined myself living in a neighbourhood within a city. Life changes, circumstances change and people evolve.
I have lived for 40 years in a quiet neighbourhood in a fairly large city, although not a capital city, then I moved to another country and here in Spain I have had to try living both in the centre and in the outskirts of the city, I have visited very touristy towns and others not so touristy and I have been able to experience what life is like there.
I am not the same as I was twenty years ago, I have learned a lot and I have seen a lot about society. Two words come to my mind, peace and tranquillity. I feel very connected to nature, a hundred times more than when I was a teenager. I think my inner change has meant that my tastes have changed radically and by this I don't mean being away from people, just that the city overwhelms at times.
My connection with nature and animals is stronger at this stage of my life and that's why I feel I would be better off in a more remote place, I don't know if it's really the countryside, but a quiet space where I can wake up to the sound of birds chirping or the sound of the breeze rustling through the trees. Or maybe listen to the waves of the sea near where I live. There are fields near the sea... I'm seeing it in my mind.
I think I said several times that I would love to travel and see places, especially places with amazing nature and historical places, but for that I have to communicate with people from all over, to be able to relate and find the best places. But when I come back home, I would like it to be a place with a lot of peace and quiet. I think a countryside near forest and sea would be ideal.
But if I want to travel I have to communicate, don't I? So I would combine living in the countryside with learning English, but not single words as I know now but fluent English that allows me to connect with people from different parts of the world, I think I would prefer that. As I write I am imagining all those trips and my return home, it looks perfect.
Learning something new also activates the brain and makes us better, well it depends on what we learn, but in this case a language would be a challenge, as the way I was taught in school, all by heart, not only didn't work, but had the opposite effect. And since I like challenges, I think it would be good for me. That... countryside and English, I think they go together perfectly.
weekend topics always so motivating.I think about the woman I was, and the woman I am now and thank life for learning so much. And thanks to @galenkp for these

Interesting to read your lines @avdesing friend... I have always been very attached to this small and sometimes bizarre town where I live... Obviously, during my time as a university student I had to come and go here only on weekends, then during my professional stage and while my sons were growing up (24 long years more or less) I worked in foreign capital corporation and I had to travel frequently, learn some English (very average too, not at all fluent, but it helped me communicate!) but finally, in 2012 I think, I decided to stop everything and stay in this small place surrounded by nature that gave me so many good experiences as a child and teenager... I believe that each one of us has a different path to follow, but the important thing is that this path always leads us closer to our purest essence, to ourselves, to the most spiritual that we can find within us... I hope your future is like this, who knows, it is very possible that you have a lot of trips ahead of you, your English very fluent and your returns to your home quiet to reflect of all that! 😃👍... Good for you!... Have a great weekend!

Hello Amonet, good morning
How wonderful it is to be connected to nature and wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, although I would also love to wake up to the sound of waves.
Have a beautiful day.
I feel the same way! Have a great day too!

Good morning, dear friend @avdesing, how are you?
What a wonderful combination of a home to live in, a rural house near the sea, surrounded by abundant nature.
I love these weekend themes.
Have a beautiful Saturday, enjoying the company of the people you love.
Imagine such a place, it surely exists!!! Thank you very much enjoy the day!!!
It's impossible to read your article and not compare it to my own life, since we have a lot of similarities. I'm probably in the process of connecting more with nature, but for now I'm still in love with the city and actually need it for my job. But I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years I want more peace around me, not just the peace I've achieved within myself. Hey, English is super important when you want to travel; it's a universal language, and it's definitely worth staying connected wherever we go. I hope we both speak it fluently soon...
Many times I don't like today's society and I really need solitude and silence and to be with like-minded people... I think that, together with my connection to nature, is the explanation. Each to his own time.
Hi @avdesing, I am of the same opinion about our internal changes and external changes. As we change inside also our tastes, our goals are changing.
In other posts you already talked about your desire to live in the countryside, I am sure that this desire will be fulfilled. About learning English, that's up to you... study.
A big hug.
Well, I don't know if it's the countryside as one knows it with animals and all that, but nature. but yes.
The English thing will happen for sure. Thank you!
Good morning, I can already see you speaking English to a butterfly, in the middle of nature.
Well ... it will be a long time.... that vision is very much in the future... first I have 3 projects in front of me... hahahaha
😃 está bien... Pues a por esos tres proyectos!!
😁😁😁
Hasta luego 👋
Learning English - music, of course :D
I had English in elementary and high school, but it was all almost nothing that I could use. I really learned it only when I was older, on my own wish/need. It went with a lot of studying hours, reading, listening, writing, private lessons, exams, and then we came to Spain, so the same with Spanish 😂
And you write spectacular Spanish! Everything is possible in life! Thank you!
And I've been looking for an English teacher for a long time and I can't find one hahaha.... But I see you are determined. To conquer a Cambridge qualification! 😎 I'm trying to learn little by little here in Hive on my own.
And about living in the countryside, I hope that one day you will be able to do it. I'm sure you will.
✨🌞
Countryside in the middle of nature... that is to say a bit away from the hustle and bustle... English will come along, you'll see!!!!
just wish for it in every detail... well you know about those things. 😉🤗🌻
Yes!!!😁
Thank you so so much @indiaunited and @steemflow !!!🤗
