On Hive, where people own the platform value and are able to personally distribute it as they choose, the importance isn't on the numbers of randoms, it is on whether those with value, see value in what they are reading. This fundamentally changes the way things are rewarded and ultimately, will favor the content creators who are best able to attract the attention of real people who enjoy what they do - not anyone for advertising revenue. In practice, this means that the content will become far more personal and unique, and far less clickbait fodder for the masses. I believe this creates a far better incentive and reward model, that leads to a healthier content profile too.
Real people enjoying their real lives, hobbies, interests. That's what truly gives value to Hive. When I'm here, I get to share my journey, my vision of the world, my growth as a human being.
