My guy and I really enjoy music and usually there's something playing as we go about our day together and individually; we have similar tastes in music but don't always agree but that's ok we're two individual people as well as a couple so having varied tastes in things is to be expected.
Today I'm sharing an artist that I listen to from time to time; it's music I find relaxing and he doesn't like it. That's ok though, different music tastes is healthy.
Here's another Saturday Selections installment, one of a series of posts in which I share some music I've been listening to. I know you won't like everything I select and that's ok, it's my selection after all.

I am gonna have to agree with Your Guy on this one. Lana is not bad just not my flavor. But after sampling 30 seconds or so of the 3rd one Blue Jeans I had to click on the video showing next up right below hers...

My guy used to listen to Creed a while back and I'll admit to liking some of their music. I didn't know they started up in Florida though; do all good things come from Florida?

It is one of the best states in the continental 48. Economically and weather wise. Also lowest crime levels. We moved here in late 1995. I was 29 years of age. What the hell took me so long I am thinkin'

Honestly, I'm not someone who stops to listen to other people's music selections. I prefer to read the text that accompanies the post, but this time I did it because you said that this selection you shared relaxes you. That caught my attention, and I loved it. Thank you!
I rarely listen to other people's music suggestions either, mostly because people are often so fixed on what they listen to that their suggestions are usually all so similar. I prefer diversity and am happy to give many different things a try. I also like exploring music on my own and with my guy, it's a hobby.

Lana has a very distinctive and truly relaxing voice. I didn't know her before, but I like her. Her voice is soft and sexy at the same time, tender and soothing. Thank you for introducing me to this artist. Of the three songs, if I had to choose a favourite, I think I like the first one the most.

I didn't know about Lana Del Ray until I heard her while lounging on the beach on vacation last month. I put the track White coast in Saturday selections.
Excellent music for relaxation and moments of rest.
I listened to the entire repertoire then, including these tracks that you just mentioned.
I believe that your man would not like such a rhythm when driving or being in nature, but if you took him to a spa, I think he would still agree with your choice 🙂
She's a good artist, I like her music a lot and even my guy doesn't mind her music but he has to be in the right mood; we often play her music when relaxing at home reading or laying on the couch together. I'm glad you like her music too.

It's good that people can choose the music they want to listen to and have to justify it to no one. For me, I'm not into dance music so haven't listened to the track you linked considering how you've explained your music likes however your musical taste is all about you and music all all sorts has value.
