A challenge was issued last week and I accepted feeling like I was able to rise to it and emerge victorious; if I did I would be humble in victory, but only after I rubbed it in a little. No, not really, I'd do no such thing. (But yes, I actually would, just a little bit.)
The Saturday night Monopoly challenge was issued during the week and plans were laid soon after. To be energised, a hearty meal would take place but not one of our making. We decided on Thai food which we'd order in. I was in charge of snacks and have made sure there's ample. My guy was placed in charge of the music and coffee duties and just like that, we're ready to monopolize our Saturday night.
I have a good feeling that I'll win; my plan is to wear something, which is to say not much, that keeps his focus on other things, me and my things, and not the Monopoly board and I'm quite sure my devious plan will mean he doesn't play as well as he usually does.

Your tactics are certainly winning, but I don't think your man will think much about Monopoly, but about some other "game" 😀
Monopoly cards scattered all over the floor, that meager winning wardrobe, mixed with his, losing one (which he doesn't mind at all), while "One more night..." plays in the background 🙂
I used some slightly unfair tactics but I decided it was worth it. I don't think he minded at all. I won Monopoly and so my plan worked perfectly.

It was a good game and I even gave him the chance of winning a few times but he ended up losing and that's ok, I didn't mind and neither did he because he won a good prize. Me.

The strategy worked out perfectly and he didn't stand a chance at winning Monopoly. We had a really nice time and relaxing weekend all round really. A fairly big Sunday, but enjoyable.
