There's so many things we could care about and we live in a world connected by the internet which offers an endless stream of possibilities. Trying to comprehend everything all at once, or to care about everything, is impossible and even were it a possibility I believe it's more important than ever to be clear about what is truly important and worthy of our attention and what is not. Splitting our focus across many different things means those that deserve our focus may not get enough of it.
What truly requires our focus varies from person to person and can be dependent upon so many factors but what I feel is common to each of us is that the important things should get more focus than the less important. Taking the time and responsibility to see what is noise and distraction then shifting focus away from those things makes much more sense and will help us create better lives.
It's the weekend and I'm firmly focused on having some time off work with my guy and a small overnight trip we're taking into the countryside which should be nice. As always, we'll have some music playing in the car and I'll most definitely be singing along. For me, this week has been one of reflection and spiritual connection, and I see that's how I'll end the weekend. But spending time with your boyfriend and going out to have fun would definitely be my plan if I weren't so focused on church. I hope you have a great time and sing your favorite songs out loud! 🙏
I always sing out loud but usually only when no one else can hear me although my boyfriend is usually willing to hear my singing and never complains.

Wherever we focus our attention, our energy will be strengthened. I wish everyone would concentrate on good things, as you do. I for one am concentrating on resting and enjoying the sun. The music selection is great. I knew the first one and I like it. I was pleasantly surprised by the second one!
