Hello friends of #Hive, I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones. Today we say goodbye to October and welcome November, which reminds me that Christmas is just around the corner and I need to get the decorations out to start decorating the house. Christmas is one of my favorite times of year because of its beautiful decorations, vibrant colors, and the traditional family dinner we have to share with our loved ones and celebrate the birth of Jesus. It's a time when children and adults alike enjoy the delicious desserts that Mom or Grandma makes. But enough about Christmas, because I'm getting carried away and moving on to another topic, this is my entry for the weekend engagement topics proposed by @galenkp. I'll be answering question number 1:
Name three things that are important to you and explain why.
As we mature and take on different roles, the priorities and important things in our lives change. When you're single, you have very different priorities: personal care and appearance, studying, professional preparation, going to the gym, among others. Then you get married and a baby arrives in the family. The priorities of mom and dad often take a back seat to give attention to this new being who fills the home with love and joy. It's a process of change and new routines for the family, which includes sleepless nights and exclusive care, but done with a lot of love for that little person who steals our hearts. At this point in my life, one of the most important things, and one I try to take the utmost care of, is my son's health and well-being. He is in adolescence, and at this stage, he requires a balanced diet that allows him to obtain the necessary nutrients for his growth and development. I try to offer him a diet rich in vitamins, proteins, and minerals so that he achieves optimal development. I also prepare his desserts and snacks as healthily as possible, avoiding excessive consumption of carbohydrates and fat, to protect his skin and prevent the appearance of pimples or blemishes, which are common at this stage.
At home, we pay close attention to his diet to ensure he gets the necessary nutrients and to prevent these pimples. I understand that they are part of the growth and puberty process, but with a balanced and healthy diet, their presence can be minimized. These pimples aren't well-received by young people; girls, for example, are horrified by the sight of a pimple. Boys often are too, but from what I've observed, they accept them with more resignation than girls. Therefore, to ensure my son's healthy growth, we are very careful about his diet and the products he consumes, aiming to provide him with the maximum amount of nutrients that give his body vitamins and energy. At this age, boys are active, and a healthy and balanced diet is ideal for meeting their body's needs.

Another important thing for me, very similar to the previous one, is taking care of my health and well-being. I love eating sweets, but when you're not so young, it's crucial to watch what you eat to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Lately, there have been several celebrations at work that include sweets like cakes and desserts, and I've managed to avoid them. Even I've been surprised at how much I've rejected these treats. They're delicious, and I love them, but my health comes first. They're pleasing to the palate, but the consequences are quick to appear, and to avoid harming my health, I've decided to cut them out. I'm working on eliminating them and limiting myself to just one a month. Has it been easy? No, it hasn't, but I feel satisfied because I've succeeded. Today, the last day of October, I only ate sweets on my birthday. This makes me feel very happy and satisfied because of the discipline I've maintained in limiting my sweet consumption.

Number three on the list of things that matter most to me is going out and spending time with my family. My family is small, and I like to visit different places in the city, like the river, the beach, the parks, the mall, where we can enjoy nature as a family, a delicious pizza, and other things, creating beautiful family memories. Children grow up so fast, or at least that's what I see, and it's important to strengthen family bonds. Sharing and spending quality time together is a way to create beautiful memories for our children.
They will leave home, perhaps to study, start a family, work, and those moments and experiences with family will remain stored in their hearts. Taking care of health and well-being is very important, but strengthening family bonds of love, affection, and solidarity is also important. That's where the relevance lies in prioritizing and balancing the things that matter to us. These are moments that we will treasure in our hearts, and although distance may separate family members, these moments will endure in the heart of each one.
When I was little, my dad used to take us on vacation to my grandmother's house, and I have many memories and experiences from those trips with my cousins and aunts and uncles. Each trip was a wonderful adventure that allowed us, among other things, to see the ocean, since there weren't any beaches in the state where we lived. We eagerly awaited school vacations to go to the beach, visit Grandma, and play with our cousins. Because of this, I focus on traveling and going out with my little one so that, in addition to exploring different regions of the country, we can strengthen our family bond and create beautiful memories with each adventure we undertake. He's the one who accompanies me most of the time on the errands and trips I take throughout the year, both in the city and outside of it. We've already visited numerous places, and our goal is to travel all over the state, as it's a state with beautiful landscapes. We share moments and trips together, creating beautiful memories that I cherish with much love and affection in my heart. I also enjoy his company and his funny antics.

I totally relate to your three options. Life is so short—don’t miss out on the things you care about. Health, family, and well-being are good choices.
