I have a really good friend that is a retired USNavy diver. One of the guys with the brass hats. He swears he can teach anybody to swim in 2 hours in a pool. I've seen him do it a couple of times.....

Yeah, my brother in law is in army. He also told me that he can teach me how to swim in a day or two.
I am always skeptic, and kind of scared when someone promises me to teach me things like that in such short amount of time.
