Today I drove a couple of kilometers to the harbor of Liznjan for no particular reason. Just to take a walk near the sea, to enjoy the salty air and the quiet Sunday atmosphere. I had a camera with me, so you can see in a bunch of photographs, how that weekend activity looked from my perspective.

When I'm in places like this one, places that I visited and photographed many times before, there is usually something unique in the atmosphere or a new detail or perspective that triggers the shooting. I always go there with the assumption that I won't photograph anything because I already photographed too much through the years. But then I notice something cool. One photograph leads to another. And I end up with yet another Liznjan - themed post to publish. This time, it all started with a crow. A crow and the beautiful cloudy sky. The bird was resting on one of the streetlamps that illuminate the fishing boats and the dock.
In the same inlet, near the harbor, there is a beach ...

... and there, on that beach, you can see this thing that looks like a pretty stylish lifeguard tower. The tower offers a nice, elevated point from which you can get a nice scenic view of the harbor and the entire bay. The following photograph ...
... was taken from up there. The design of the beach stuff looks like made with this kind of weather in mind. The white and the shades of blue on the ground get very well along with the blues of the sea and the sky.
Here you can take a look at the distant stuff along the line of the horizon. The threatening wall of clouds and the contours of the land across the bay.
In one of the inlets two or three hundred meters from the beach, there is another harbor. A much smaller and more improvised one. About a dozen of mostly wooden, makeshift piers. A bunch of sailing boats anchored in deeper water ...
... and this little cottage with a camping trailer behind it.

In this photograph, the second one taken from the tower, the focus is again on the main harbor and the beach.
This detail was also photographed from that elevated point. The small boat has partially sunken in the muddy shallows. Although until the next low tide only. With the turning of the tide, the boat will go from sunken to stranded.
Here you can see some functional boats tied to the large dock built primarily for the larger fishing boats and the trucks and vans that transport the fish.
Here I zoomed in again on more distant stuff. The following photograph ...
... follows the same type of composition with a sailing boat in the center.
In this photograph, you can take a wider look at the sky above the bay.

And that's it. It all started with a crow, and with the same crow, the post reached its end.

Looks like a nice view from that tower.
That boat has seen better days. Too bad. It doesn't look that old really. I wonder if it hit a rock or something that damaged its hull.
The coasts in your region looked so pretty. I also enjoyed the salty sea air in our island, i guess we had the same gloomy skies this day😸😸 as always europe looks so pretty everywhere you go👍👍

I don't know exactly 😆 never thought about it too much. Maybe is there just to walk or run on it. Maybe whoever did it tried to make the place rollerskates & skateboards - friendly with that path.

Beach or seaside is always a one thing where vibes or view will make you capture it. Still remember been like a year and have those memories in such place.
