This week our weekend began on Friday because the dentist was on the agenda so we had 2,5 days of doing nothing and just taking things easy. Ofcourse we had to go to the soccer field because all the boys had a match. So soccer mum went to the club in the wind and cold, just to be proud at the side while I saw, one loose and the other one make one goal and also lost. Tradition is getting a “broodje frikandel “ at the cantina.
But weekend engagers are challenged aswell eventhough its a free weekend to think about three questions, I take two to answer, but it took some time.

- The island paradise

Island paradise for me would be one of the A,B,C islands that belong to the Netherlands 🇳🇱 , I would go to Curaçao 🇨🇼. I love this island but it’s the only one I haven’t been to. And I would take Marc Rutte our prime Minister, Queen Maxima and Richard Branson. I think those three and me can make a plan to make sure the islands would get more done, the islands need all the help they can get after the covid damage they suffered.
We are planning a trip there this summer hopefully, the islands are gorgeous and very diverse. Diving is most beautiful but with all the restrictions the tourists were not able to come on the planes and the costs to be tested every day was also not as attractive. I think together with the queen and our prime minister and the business genius Richard we can make a difference. And we have 5 years so that will also mean some time to enjoy each others company and maybe Maxima’s wardrobe…. A girl can dream can’t she?

- The dinner party
You are holding a dinner party and can invite any three people on the planet however none can be related to you, meaning family members. One of the invitees must be from history (deceased) - who do you invite and why?
Again I would bring three people and for dinner that would be Adele , Queen Rania al-Yassin from Jordan and because I think we need to have a man present aswell John van der Heuvel.
I am a huge fan of Adele, she is magic and at a dinner party that would be great to have here sing in between courses. Queen Rania is such a power woman I think that the combination would be so cool, and we can talk about world matters. She is very intelligent and that is something I admire as the wif of Abdallah for Jordan. She stands her power. The man is John van de Heuvel, the dutch presenter of a program I watch always. Its called kidnapped. Its about kids taken from parents in Holland and taken all over the world. The fact that he also is Hollands biggest crime fighter. He has solved many criminal cases and this is his program.
It will be a interesting dinner. Hopefully by a great chef!
The rest of the weekend was about making a new entry for the letsmakeacollage and contest voor-operation with @stemsocial.
We watched Encanto by Disney with the kids and their friends.
We watched the Olympics and saw we won a silver medal.
Our rent free black furries were lazy and sleeping a great part of the day.
Also it’s my week for the ladies of hive - contest week 69 and I asked ladies to show me either their fridge and / or clothing closet. With the three things they think are a must have.
We had pizza , LOVE AT FIRST BITE.
Encanto and sewing a bit on the second blanket for Alzheimer.
I met ET , guess he is phoning home in a tree these days, while walking the dogs. That was two hours ago, when it just was wind without rain. Now it’s evening and I am winding up this weekend blog, getting ready to start a new week, a new week full of engagement and encounters both off and online.

Queen Rania is definitely a good choice! I have a lot of respect for her, too.
I used to coach soccer in what seems like a lifetime ago. I remember my team winning their first game ever. It was like magic.
