I love this game. If you're unfamiliar with it, the rule is:
You have to tell two truths and one lie but you can't tell anyone which is the lie.
They have the guess. That's the whole point.
This is particularly fun when played amongst friends or between lovers as you get to see how well people know you.
So, let's go:
Here are my "Two Truths and One Lie":
As we navigated Tropical Cyclone Alfred this weekend...
ONE - I put on a rain jacket and walked along the street to make sure the drains weren't clogged up, and pulled leaves, branches and other debris out of the way so the water could flow better.
TWO - I was pretty stressed out when my very elderly mother-in-law lost power and we couldn't reach her by phone or internet, so we jumped in the car to see if she was okay, brought her extra supplies and just reassured ourselves that she was, in fact, okay.
THREE - I messaged more friends in the last two days than the two months prior to that, trying to establish who had power, if anyone was suffering from trees down or flooding, and to check if there was anyone who needed help or at least, to know that someone cared.
Now it's your turn to guess!

That's really hard! I know you're a caring person....wait I've got it .. no way did you clean the gutters on the weekend. You either did it last week in preparation , or your lovely man did it!!!
Good guess. You probably know me better than most Hivers. Totally reasonable guess. But... I did clean the gutters :P The only reason #2 was a lie is because it wasn't really safe enough to drive anywhere yesterday =)

I'd say you visited your mother-in-law and messaged your friends, and I'm seldom wrong about anything:)
Why? Because if it were me, I'd count on having that one neighbour who gets up earlier and does the drain clearing job.
