"What fire does not destroy, it hardens."

Life often takes us down paths that we do not imagine and no one knows what the future may bring, and as people who have learned to keep our moral values high we do not know if someday everything can turn around just to survive, your life or my life?
I was struck by the question of starving to death or resorting to cannibalism? And I remembered the true story called "The miracle of the Andes " a very well known case and of which even movies have been made, where a plane flying to Santiago de Chile, crashed in the Andes mountain range, carrying 45 passengers, Rugby players, 12 died instantly and then 17 of them died of their injuries, It took 72 days to be rescued, everyone was considered dead because of the time that had passed, however 16 survived thanks to the fact that they ate those who were dying, they had to become cannibals, it cost some more than others but it was the only way to survive.
No doubt this is a great teaching that reminds us that at a given moment we humans are capable of doing anything to survive, in my case I think I would have done the same, in a hypothetical case that this would have happened to me, I could have also committed cannibalism.
It could not only happen there, but anywhere where one can get lost, where we need to survive, of course I would not be able to kill unless it is his life or mine, the truth is that to survive if I have to become a cannibal I am sure I would do it, no one wants to die, we all want to survive.
