Hi bro! What a weekend you had over there. I love that this is taking place, I'm not sure if here in Venezuela there are events like this and maybe I miss them, but what I do know is that you wouldn't see the variety of animals that there are there in your area.
I'm definitely team "Cat Crazy Lady" hahaha, but not in an unhealthy way like what you've described above. I'm pretty sure I've only ever touched rabbits, dogs and cats, maybe the occasional rodent, but I don't dare much to pet any animals, especially snakes, though I am somewhat curious (I'd have to do it at an event like this)...
I feel like that weekend staying with the dachshund puppy will be very special and hopefully part of that preparation for expanding the family later on. Happy weekend, loved your post!.
Aren't there just snakes around in the jungles in Venezuela? Perhaps you can just go exploring and find one! ;D
I often wonder what it is like in different countries for pets. I am pretty sure that in some places, they aren't cared for as much as they are here, whilst in others, they might be better cared for.
Hahahaha, there must be a lot of snakes around here, but I wouldn't be able to touch them without supervision. Petting a hedgehog also attracts my attention, I think that would be pleasant for me. I'm sure there's protection for animals here, but I don't think they do these events where you can get that close. Thanks for the feedback bro 🫂
