Out In The Green

Green Evokes Feeling Of Abundance

Green all around me makes me happy, living in a dry country everything is fresh on this October 2016 weekend break at Brackenburn Drakensberg in a rented a cottage, taking a break from suburban life, calming down anxiety.

What a beautiful morning, what a beautiful day, green tapestry all around me makes one smile for the sake of smiling. Smelling early morning breeze lifting the spirits to new heights, these short breaks out in the green extremely rewarding during Spring.

Shades of green with fresh grasses growing after dry winter, new buds spring to life on branches of trees, all adds extra spring to your step in anticipation of the new season.

Weekend Winter experience June 2017 to Oribi Gorge, looking down into a sea of green, healthy together where some water flows with many plants squeezed tightly together. Hugging the hill, clinging to the soil establishing themselves as one fighting for the sun

No way to define one from the other this mass body of green becomes one, living in harmony without interference a weekend to remember green spaces belong, never interfered with allowing nature back in.

Green is exhilarating, yet soothing, a balance in nature between blue and yellow.

Enjoyable in Spring with freshness rejuvenating a landscape, winter greens appear darker more established as if standing guard before many ever green trees here in sub-tropical conditions release leaves slowly making way for fresh shoots.

Time spent relaxing on short weekend experiences always feasting ones eyes with delightful sights.

Seasonal change offers different experiences, next Friday to Friday 7th October I will be away in the mountains once again feasting my eyes on all the Spring colours which I will be sure to photograph then share once I’m back from a full week break away...., much needed!

To You and Yours take care, thanks for reading and joining in sharing experiences in countries around the world, drawn together through Hive Communities.

From the horses mouth...

Can I also tagged along with you to enjoy the cool nature view, I imagined it will be great😄

Anyone who enjoys the outdoors always more than welcome.

Ok no problem about that 😄

Hello friend, excellent photos, I liked the one of the rock and in the first photo I could see huge pine trees; the horse was posing for you, it's great. Greetings.

Thanks for visiting and kind comment, all photography from different parts of our province to give a good feel of the countryside. Horse is standing in paddock with fields of sugar cane in backdrop, all green!

As you said. Greenery is seen everywhere up to my country

So many greens all together vistas of freedom one never forgets being unique in different surroundings.

Lonely scenery, nothing beats being immersed in nature taking in all the beautifulnes it offers.
A break away every now and then doesa lot of refreshing.

Have a good one when you do go away.

Really looking forward to the break, where I will be able to walk alone drinking the views in.

Will be celebrating my brothers 70th during the week. Many holidays spent in Southern Drakensberg with family.

Wow 70th birthday, Happy birthday to him, he celebrate many more years to come. 🙂

I'll let him know, should be a good place to celebrate as we know the resort intimately well.

Great, I think you guys have chosen a nice spot for that, I will love that as well away and getting myself absorbed in nature.

I don't do the hiking as I used to, have done many over the years throughout the country. Now time to take a camera, have some fun, unwind....

It is starting to feel like autumn here in the northern hemisphere, and it is time for harvest as plants are dying off. You are transitioning to a cycle of growth and rebirth. Geographic poetry?

World in balance, seasonal cycles should ensure food availability all year round once everything goes back to normal.
