Hello friends of HIVE, I wish you a happy 2024 and hope that all your resolutions are fulfilled and above all, good health for all of you.

I want to share with you my last experience of the weekend and of the year 2023 which was this Friday December 29th. I was coordinating with a friend to deliver an order that I made a few days ago, first it was in a train station but at the last moment she suggested that we please meet near a park called Campo de Marte that belongs to the district of Jesus Maria - Lima and it was good that it was so because at the entrance I noticed a sign that occupied the beginning of an entire passage, because there they had installed the XXV Feria De Los Deseos (XXV Wishes Fair).

This fair is organized by traders and different personalities in the field of esotericism for the cabals and rituals that many people usually do at the end of the year, from different localities of Peru mostly from the province of Puno and some border areas of Bolivia, here you can not only see objects related to the Peruvian - Bolivian esotericism if not also present part of the Chinese - Japanese esotericism due to the great influence of these two nations in my country for over a century. This event is held right at the end of each year, many people perform their rituals for abundance, health and prosperity for the new year to come and usually attend such fairs.

This is the poster that I mentioned before that says XXV Wish Fair.

In this stand as I mentioned there were some Asian souvenirs such as dragons, Buddhas and other Chinese gods.

Here you can see models of buildings and houses with cars, the lady who attended the stand explained to me that they are amulets for those who yearn to acquire their first home and vehicle.

The Ekeko, this unique character is worshiped in the western Andean region of Bolivia, mainly in La Paz, it is very popular in Peru, mostly in the southern regions, also in northern Chile and Argentina. This amulet is a symbol of abundance, fecundity and joy, as you can see this amulet carries objects such as a small house, money and other Andean clothing.

In this stand there were some handicrafts of the Torito de Pucará, it is a symbol of protection, happiness and fertility, it is native of the south of my country Peru specifically in the town of Pucará province of Puno. It is a character full of mysticism and art based on clay.

I saw some people sitting in front of some stalls and I approached them and one of them told me that they were waiting their turn to have different rituals performed, among them making wishes to the virgin of Copacabana which is a syncretistic ritual of Catholic and Aymara origin (the predominant pre-Hispanic culture of Bolivia and the region of Puno in Peru), also the spiritual cleansing that consists of passing an egg around the body of the person, cleaning with guinea pigs and flowering baths in others.

Stands of handicrafts and typical Andean clothing such as ponchos, chullos (hats) very representative of the Peruvian and Bolivian Andean culture.

Before finishing my tour I came across some food stands at the end of the corridor and above all I was struck by a paneton made from black maca (Andean tuber) and seven seeds (a mixture of Andean cereals) also desserts such as homemade ice cream, some based on quinoa (Andean cereal) and the popular ice cheese which is a typical dessert of the cuisine of the city of Arequipa-Peru.

I found this event very interesting and colorful, even though I am not attracted to esotericism, I find it very positive to want to do something meaningful to attract good vibes and abundance.

Thank you for coming this far, I hope you like my post and I wish you much happiness, health and prosperity for this 2024. All comments are welcome. 🤗
