My last weekend was unusual, you may be surprised who wants to spend the weekend in such a place, but you will be even more surprised when I tell you that I had a lot of fun despite the strangeness of it.
My friend called me a few days ago, telling me that her operation had been scheduled. The doctor gave her two options, the first is a general anesthetic, which he does not prefer, or a local anesthetic, which my friend does not dare to do.
She told me that she would dare to do the operation under local anesthesia if I accompanied her to the operating room!
I didn't think about it much, it's like a reward for a medical student to go into the operating room. I agreed without hesitation.
I woke up early and headed to the hospital, it took me to move between two provinces for an hour on the highway.
The operation is not dangerous, it is a nose operation and does not carry many risks, but the idea of undergoing an operation was frightening to my friend.
When I arrived at the hospital, my friend welcomed me and we took a photo in the hospital garden before getting ready and entering the operating room.
I put on the operating uniform and my girlfriend was prepared by the nurses. We entered the operating room and everything was ready to start the operation. The anesthesiologist, nurses and several operations. Except for the surgeon! He is late!
After a few minutes of waiting, the nurse told us that the doctor had an ambulance and would be late for the operation, and we had to wait in the operating room because the clothes we were wearing were sterile.

Meanwhile, tension began to seep into my friend, she started to feel scared and told me that she no longer wanted the operation. Well it's a little crazy but waiting while you're lying in the operating room will have this effect on you.
I tried to calm her down, I held her hand and told her everything would be fine, she asked me to take a picture of our hands together, she's my best friend and I'll definitely be by her side. I started telling you some jokes and saying things to make her laugh, and it worked. She started laughing and we took some pictures together.
Well the waiting time passed quickly and the doctor arrived for the surgery, the operation started. The good thing about topical anesthesia is that my friend was aware of everything that was happening and we were all talking and sharing her talk and laughter during the operation. She asked me to take pictures of her during the operation and the surgeon allowed me to do so, but I will not share it with you because it is a bit bloody.
The surgery went well, and my friend came out in good health, but I came out with a strange and unique experience. Watching the surgery performed on your close friend and being able to stand next to her and see everything closely, is an unrepeatable experience.
We went back to the room assigned to my friend after the operation and stayed there until the next day. During the night I lay on a bed by her side, and we talked and laughed so long that we both fell asleep and fell asleep. The next morning we packed our bags and did some paperwork to get my friend out of the hospital, then I drove her home and came back to my home exhausted but happy.
Not the best way to spend a weekend, and not the most pleasant and enjoyable experience. But I can't deny that I really enjoyed it, and this day will be an unforgettable day for me, even though it's a hospital and an operating room, but when you're with your best friends, it doesn't matter where you are, to get some sincere laughs and unforgettable memories.
Your weekend experiences, what you did, and most of all, the pictures you took, is something only a doctor can understand.
