It is important to focus on the studies and the career, I agree with you, though I would not ditch completely the thoughts about a relationship. If you find a good match, your partner can encourage you to study well, to motivate, to inspire, and to be a moral support too. At least, I had a good experience and I did finish my studies and had a long-term relationship where we supported each other ;)
