RE: Weekend-engagement topic week 24: Passions [Get paid for yours]

Well - take a look at the picture at my profile page, then you know my top passions :)

Table-top roleplaying. No, not Dungeons and Dragons - there is are hundreds of other games. This pic was taken at a session of "Blue Rose". My last blog post was about that topic.Needlework - be it knitting, sewing or crochet. And I plan to buy a loom and start weaving soon. See my blog post on Monday (and all my previous #needleworkmonday posts) for that.Reading and writing - here on Hive and on 'that other chain' before and everywhere else. When I was a child, my mother used to joke that I would forget to eat because I was reading everything on the boxes of cereal etc.
Sort:

I've never gotten much into RPG except once a friend made an online game (called Lords of Lothar LoL best name ever) and I got into that through beta and into general release. It is now deceased because both the brother's jobs changed. One is a VP type at Disneyland and the other is a programmer for the Magic Kingdom. That plus young children and something had to give...

I have an aunt who is a knitting person. She is a specialist on a specific auto loom. Makes patterns and tests stuff all the time.

Reading seems a fairly common thought here. I'm not just real surprised. I've read cereal boxes myself :)

That's three interesting passions and I'm sure they keep you fairly busy. Is most of your reading here on hive or do you read books and if so what type holds your interest? I also like to read and have a wide variety of interests, what are yours?

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

I love role-playing games. I used to play with my kids when they were younger. Then they graduated to the video games. That's where they lost me and I could never win, so I gradually removed myself from play.
