Sometimes, working seriously and without any fun or laughter makes our life boring and in effect becomes stressful. That would possibly affect our dealings with our clientele and less productivity. But how can we avoid it whether we are at our workplace or at home?
Make Conversations with Some Sense of Humor
We can grab some opportunities to make ourselves and others feel the fun by giving some sense of humor in the way we speak in a meeting. Although we are talking about our stressful urgent work, we still can inject some relevant jokes or funny lines to make the attendees laugh. Our aim is to make our atmosphere conducive. Heavy tasks may become lighter because our feeling is set to a happy mood, like what you can see here.
Our aim is to let them feel relaxed and refreshed from the burden brought about by their multi-tasking job, not only as a classroom teacher, and actor/actress, but also as a guidance counselor, a caretaker, and many more. It's because we are teachers, we tackle all these things. Thus, making our colleagues happy will lessen the feelings of exhaustion. Every time we smile and laugh, that would add energy and enthusiasm for ourselves.
Enjoying Household Tasks during Weekends
Here comes the weekend. A lot of things can be done at home. I love cooking like my wife does. We both love cooking different menus out of the available veggies, fish, or meat. If pork ribs or belly are available, I cook my children's favorite yummy Pork Kawali (a menu where the meat has to be cooked first in the steamer with lemon grass, spring onion, hot chili, leaf of sweet basil, and some seasonings).
I think I have to show you my simple steps on how to cook Pork or Chicken Kawali with all the steps from start to finish in my next blog, hopefully. I know, your friends and family will enjoy it very much. These photos are just a glance at something that we can do ourselves at home or even during gatherings to have some sort of relaxation from the pressures and stress of work.
Every time my family appreciates my menu, the more I have the guts to make another one for them to enjoy. That makes me happy seeing them even when we have visitors to serve it. I usually make a twist of what I see on others' menus- just to see if I can have a similar or even much better taste out of the existing ones. But this one here below is another area for learning and for future development.
Fun in Our Backyard
Several years ago, I had my freshwater cages for Tilapia Fishes. But, things changed when I could no longer access the supplies from the supplier due to the high demand but less productivity of their breeders. But my youngest boy had found some fingerlings in the bigger cage and transferred them here.
So, one of the three cages that has never been used for about five to six years already for the main purpose, needs to be transformed. This time, we have made a decision to make a bigger septic tank for the existing small piggery that we have in addition to temporary septic tanks that already exist and are functional.
It can also be made into a facility for a biogas digester for a two-way benefit- but depending on the available budget for the project, where you would hopefully enjoy both the gas to be used for cooking that will make a cut to the present expenses. It can even generate power that can be a source for lighting and other electrical devices while no undesirable smell will be inhaled. Thus, the supposed waste can become another source of wealth in the future.
By the way, the location for this is about thirty meters or more away from our house and from our neighbors. In fact, no complaints had been made. We can even grill some fish or meat and eat your lunch here. But, to make sure that the piggery would operate for many years ahead, we anticipated possibilities and we also made preventions for any negative outcomes later.
So, while the work is still ongoing, we get here from time to time especially on weekends to relax and enjoy the fresh air- because it is still fresh- due to several trees surrounding it. You can see trees like Molave, Bagarnga, Anonang, Talisay, Magtalisay, and many more. If you wish to climb, you can do it but- of course, with risks.
So, these are just a few examples of doing things that can possibly help us avoid stress. I hope you enjoyed reading this.
That's all for today my co-hivers, friends, and visitors to this blog. I hope I have shared something of practical use. Thank you for reading my article. See you again on my next blog.

Thank you @lovinglymers for the great ideas and the compliments.
As I see you are the kind of school head whom your teacher feels comfortable working with you. Hopefully, all school heads have the same attitudes as you Sr. A hardworking husband and father...I'm amazed by your new project by the way...converting waste into biogas. I hope your project is successful.
Thank you mam @dehai for the impression. Hoping and praying that someday my project would be realized.
Wow! You have a great lists of stress relievers and indeed laughing is one of the best of them. Always have them to be a stress free.
Yes mam @jenthoughts. In fact, it's free for all of us. But we need to initiate something to spark those feelings...hehe...Once started, the succeeding laughs will just come easy...Thank you mam!
To relieve stress, you must enjoy everything you do, and as I can see you really are. Keep it up, sir.
Yes mam @chimegipamus. It's nice to do things with a happy mood because you will really enjoy what you are doing, especially when you see that you have made others happy, too. Although, it can't be done more frequently, but it can be sometimes or as the situation allows.
We should know how to find ways to entertain ourselves, especially when we deal with a stressful situation.
That food is mouth-watering.
Thank you @kellyane for the feedback.
I had a fun time reading 🥰 but what stroke me most was the fried pork 😄
I started salivating the moment I saw it and I began my 1 month craving for fried chicken 😅😅
Laughter is sweet and does good to the soul as the Bible says and I think it's the first and easiest way to feel relaxed at home and at work.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you @sapphirekay for the positive feedbacks. I hope I can make more blogs that can be of interest for the readers.
Yes, it's true that a happy heart is related to the good health as the Bible says.
You're very welcome, sir.
I'm looking forward to those 😇😇
Hopefully, I would be showing you all the steps on how to do the Pork and Chicken Kawali that would lessen the fats in the case of pork. For chicken, although the chicken is commercial, it would taste like native chicken. I'm looking forward to the actual process @sapphirekay. Hope to see you in my next blog for that purpose.
Sure, Sir. Thank you so kindly.
Thanks for your post about how one may avoid stress. My suggestion is that you take a look at the community posting guide to gain a better understanding of what this post is about though. IT is not a place to list things that one could, it's a place to share real-life experiences about one's weekend. If you read the posting guide you'll be better-placed to post the right type of community-focused content.
Thank you for these inputs @hive-168869. I need feedback like this for me to better understand what really are things to be posted here and what not to. Please be assured that I'm willing to comply the guidelines which I am about to know more fully. In fact, as of the moment, there are a lot of things for me to learn here. Thank you for this opportunity.
Thanks, I look forward to seeing some great posts from you, and supporting you with upvotes from this account and my own personal account.

Good job @natsve54. As the world experiences climate change life becomes even more difficult. We need to struggle and do our best to provide our family everything to survive. You did it right.
