The feeling of fairy-tale magic, being on another planet where there are no wars, problems, misfortunes, anxiety...
Such a feeling overtakes me when I returned to the mountains of Kemeru again! It is a great happiness to live 6 km away from the beautiful place of Kesme Boğazı Canyon
So, with my rental car, I come here for a few hours each time to calm my soul... The constant feeling of anxiety... caused by the war in Ukraine and the uncertainty of living without a home, not knowing what tomorrow will bring... Being here by the rushing stream, which seems to be singing to me: everything will be fine!... I am filled with the energy of the mountains and feel positive again!
It was a great weekend. The beginning of December pleases us with 20 degrees of heat outside, 20 degrees of warm water in the Mediterranean Sea! This is an amazing discovery for me! I used to think that there are storms and cold winds blowing by the sea in Turkey in December. But the Mediterranean Sea in Kemer is warm and comfortable.
Yesterday I came to the embankment and swam in the sea. You can see: people are still lying down and sunbathing from 12 to 3 p.m. This is a beautiful velvet season!
We walked along the main avenue near the fountain, where the corolful trees create a magical picture of autumn Kemer.
And then we got into the car and drove to the mountains. This process of driving on a mountain road while listening to my favorite music fills me with special joy, the triumph of life!
Here we parked the car near a bridge over a rushing stream. We see our favorite cafe above the cliff... My @bugavi wants to drink tea right away :) She doesn't share my passion for walking in the mountains :) But I say: tea has to be earned. Let's go for a walk first. There is one thing she loves - taking pictures against the background of beautiful mountains. So off we go!
Look at the beautiful pictures created by the mountain roads that snake between the mountains and the pines. Orange maples and red aspens look so beautiful among the green conifers!
This nature is a little similar to my native Ukrainian Carpathians. Only here there are more pine trees, and in the Ukrainian Carpathians tall fir trees that grow into the sky prevail!
A striped cat, like a tiger :) is basking in the last warm rays of the sun!
A feature of the Turkish mountains are rocks and between them there are many streams that form deep pools between round stones. Here I can come in safely and swim without fear of getting hurt.
Next time I will show in more detail the place we found in the mountains and swam there in early December. The water is comfortable enough for me - a lover of swimming in cold water.
Here, among the big round stones, we found a small wooden bridge over the water, which my children crossed, making me nervous :) I was worried: what will happen if they fall into the water with their clothes on!? Can you imagine: they arranged a video shoot there, on that bridge :)
But everything ended well, thank God!
Later, we took a different road into the mountains, where even more breathtaking views of this incredibly beautiful nature of the Turkish mountains opened up! Among the tall trunks of trees, which intertwine with each other as if in love, you can see a mountain river deep below!
Can there be anything more beautiful than a walk in the mountains in warm autumn, breathing in the fresh air filled with the aroma of pine trees!? They say: "mountains can only be better than mountains you have never been to!"
Your soul will be saturated with the colors of autumn, absorbing all the colors of the rainbow and getting a good positive mood!
Now you can sit in a cafe above the cliff, wrapped in a blanket, and listen to this eternal song of peace and harmony of nature for a long time!

Amazing to see people are still swimming and sunbathing in Kemer in December. I think the temperature might be okay in daylight, and become cooler after evening. The winter season must shorter than even Aegean.
Yes, in the evening it is about 12 - 14 degrees of heat. But during the day it is still 20 degrees. This is really a unique December for me :) In my country, the temperature is below zero in December.
The winter has been surprisingly warm so far this year.
This is because I stayed in Turkey for the winter :)
I have seen on the news that it flooded there.
Oh my god, what a beautiful place, the nature of the mountains and rivers is something I love. The rocks are wonderful! I'm used to seeing dark rocks, it's interesting to see them in a lighter color.

Так, увечері вже потрібні куртки. Близько 12 - 14 градусів тепла. Але вдень ще 20 тепла. Це справді унікальний грудень :)
