The problem is not perfection, it is pretending

Hi everyone, hope we are all enjoying our weekend so far.
welcome to this week's @weekend-engegment topic week 282 and am so happy to be writing about what i am most intolerant of in today's society and the reason behind it.

If there’s one thing I really can’t stand in today’s society, it is hypocrisy, the way so many people act one way in public and another in private is really alarming,We live in a time where almost everyone wants to look perfect, to appear “right” in the eyes of others, especially on social media. People post about kindness but are rude in real life,they talk about honesty but lie when it suits them, they preach love while spreading hate in their comments. It’s annoying and frustrating because it feels like genuine character doesn’t matter anymore, just only the image we wish to show does.

What bothers me the most is that hypocrisy destroys trust. It makes it hard to know who is real and who is pretending. It is there in politics, in workplaces, in families, even friendships are not spared. Someone will speak about fairness and equality, but treat others unfairly when nobody is watching. It is like society has become more focused on appearing good than actually being good.

Yes I understand that nobody is perfect , we all make mistakes. But the problem is when people refuse to admit it their mistakes, pretending to be saints while judging others harshly. And this kind of behavior kills honesty and connection. I believe we would have a much better world if people simply accept their mistakes, practiced what they preached and allowed themselves to be human flawed but sincere. I would rather deal with someone who is imperfect and real than someone fake and flawless any day any time!!

“At the end of the day, I don’t expect perfection from anyone — just a little honesty, a little effort, and the courage to be real, to be one's self in a world full of pretenders.”

Do enjoy the rest of your weekend.
@preshy007 love you all ❤️
