It's funny that squirrels have become synanthropes. Squirrels also live in our city parks, and they are friendly to people, they are not afraid, they allow themselves to be photographed, they beg for treats. And on the outskirts of the city there is a forest. Here in it I occasionally meet real forest squirrels. These guys are very secretive, cautious, and they don't like people.

I think the owls are learning the city squirrels are easier to hunt than the country squirrels. I saw three juvenile great horned owls in the park this time. I suspect they are the ones that ate the oriole the other day. Hopefully they stick around for more photoshoots.
