A beautiful day to one and all in this amazing community. It's me again simplechalyns. How are you, by the way? Hope you're all fine and doing great.
Maybe most of us could relate that beauty is about enhancing what you have. I'm pretty sure many would agree with this.😊
When we talk about enhancing beauty, it is enhancing human's beauty but at this point, I am referring about enhancing the beauty of our vehicle that gives us a great help especially to my family.
This three-wheeled vehicle ( Bajaj RE) or commonly known as Tuktuk was almost 6 years in our hands. This is our daily service in going to school and everywhere we go, this is our companion.
THE REWARD
To give the reward to our Tuktuk for the solid and faithful service that never leaves us in all our needs. We decided to give it a makeover or repair its body parts and enhance its beauty.
It was like a human that when something good is done to you, you give a reward. I can't wait to see our repaired Tuktuk
AT THE WELDING SHOP
The repair man told us that it takes two to three weeks for him to repair it because its body was rusty and also because we requested to have a steel top of it.
It cost 25,000 PHP or 463 USD excluding the body paint. We decided to have it repaired and we added a door for my kid's safety.
OUR VISIT TO THE SHOP
One week passed and we visited our Tuktuk. Wow!!! see that? When I saw it, happiness fell inside of me. Atlas! it received the reward in its best service offered to us. It was almost done and the repair man told us it will be finished in the next two to three days. He said that they made overtime to repair it faster.
THE BODY PAINTING
The body repair was done already. We made installed a sliding window as well and it cost approximately 11,000 PHP. Then my husband asked his cousin to do the body painting.
It took long days for us to wait when it will be finished because according to the painter applying the body filler is not easy and also to apply it, we must see to it that there should be good weather.
Many materials were used but I wasn't able to take pictures of them. The painting cost was 23,000 PHP including the painter's daily pay ( labor).
OUR NEW TUKTUK IS READY TO SERVE US
Atlas! Weekend came and it was the scheduled time to get our tuktuk from the shop where it was painted. Our Tuktuk look as same as brand new. The body is shining and sparkling. It's nice to see our Tuktuk. It looks like it winked and smiled at me. It's like a human, thanking the goodness given to him.
*** SELF-REALIZATION ***
I come to realize that the things that give us great help, especially in our challenging daily lives need also rewards or something good in return. They also deserve love and care from us.

My first time to heard tuktuk but it looks like what in trend now and was used here Manila but powered by electricity I think.
Hello @lhes.it is known as tuktuk in Thailand and here in our place we call it Bajaj RE thru its brand. It is not electric but powered by gasoline instead. Many people also used this vehicle in our place. Thank you for the message I really appreciate it😊

Does this have AC? Or you just open the window while driving?
Good day @hiddenblade! Yes it is called tuktuk in thailand,I asked my husband if unsay tawag ane diri sa amoa then he said three wheeler vehicle.
We have to open the windows while driving. Most drivers asked if it has AC and my husband told them that wala pa naabot ang order😊

It's my first time hearing the word Tuktuk hehe. Maybe like a person, your vehicle who has been part of the family for the longest time deserves that makeover, he/she must be very happy. 😊
