CULTURAL WEEKEND FOR MY SON: VISITING A THEATER

Guys, this weekend was special for me and my boy - we visited a theater. It wasn't our 1st time, it was the 2nd one;) But still we were full of emotions.

It's a local Kerch theater studio that teaches kids to be actors, to have actor skills, good scene speech and others, and once for 2 months they prepare a holiday for kids - a fairytale in the real theater.

As a rule, they show good fairytales with some changes and humor for kids and parents. There are some music games and interactions with kids during the fairytale, kids can sing, clap, dance a little near their seats, and it's great fun for them. And kids always have gifts there!

It lasts about 60 min, and my boy never can sit so long without movement, but theater is magic, and he was looking at actors with pleasure.

It's like lessons of music, dances and theater skills at the same time for all children.

And parents like it not less! There is atmosphere of childhood and carelessness there. So good to rest from problems and cares...

As you see people take seats not near each other, but 1-3-5-7 etc.
Hi to Covid. It's a demand.
But it's great all life activites are available too. At least in such a manner and with stupid demands to wear a mask that is taken away in 1 min. Just a formal action for most people.

As a bonus in the hall a big fish house attracted all kids' attention:)

Further proves that different media has different effects and all of them are valid ;D

I remember one year when my kids were little (youngest was 4-5), my mother in law bought my family tickets to go see The Lion King Broadway. At the time, youngest was very much like yours with the inability to sit still and my mother in law hung around outside because we thought it highly unlikely that he would be able to sit through the whole show and we would have to send him out to mother in law during intermission.

He sat through the whole thing! And commented at the end that he really enjoyed it but "it went on forever!" XD

Our next trip wasn't until some years later when we went to see a play of one of the Treehouse novels (can't remember which one). Now just need to magic up more money, my middle child has been interested in going to one of the ballets and the boys want to go see another play sometime XD

I had some friends from uni that did children's threatre, and remember hearing stories of the performances they put on, a lot of their shows were at least somewhat interactive, and sounded like a lot of fun :)

Fishies are always a drawcard! :D

Hope your next theatre trip is better without stupid face masks and "social distancing" ;D

haha yeah,I hope so too!

"it went on forever!" - my son didn't say it but I saw he thought the same;) 1 hours without movement is really long for 5 years, even if he likes what he is looking at.

thanks for your story!

Now my son understands that the theater can be fun, so he looks at all ads in the streets to see new ones:))

Los teatros son lo.maximo me encantan
