It's time to harvest our land that i almost forgot as i more focus on growing my staked hive power. Now that i achieved my 2025 hive power goal , i think i got more time to visit my land often.
HARVESTING MY LAND AT TIDINGS (1 PLOT)
My land in tiding is producing wood with 31.90/hr production.
My land at 44 tidings harvested around 5359.2 wood which needed 9408 grain to feed to the worker. With current 1 DEC = 31.66 Wood and 1 DEC = 88.352 grain. To be able to understand if it is efficient lets convert everything into DEC . So 5359.2 wood / 31.66 = 169.27 DEC minus 9408 grain / 88.352 = 106.483. Thus we got 62.787 DEC . This result was higher as compared to the last harvest due to removing the one worker that is not compatible.
HARVESTING MY LAND AT EVERFALL ( 2 PLOTS)
My 2 land plot in everfall is also producing wood with 18.50/hr production.
Same from my land plot in tidings, my 2 land plots at 118 Everfall harvested both 3108 wood each which needed 6216 grain to feed to the worker. With current 1 DEC = 31.66 Wood and 1 DEC = 88.352 grain. Again to be able to understand if it is efficient lets convert everything into DEC . So both plot with 3108 wood / 31.66 = 98.16 DEC minus 6216 grain / 88.352 = 70.35 (2) . Thus we got 70.35 DEC for the 2 plots. This result was higher was almost similar to tha last harvest. The reason is that the worker i put are all compatible. The result is still the same with positive return.
ADDING MY HARVESTED WOOD INTO THE POOL
The good thing with land is you can become a merchant by adding your harvested product into the pool: DEC and wood pair for my case. There are also available for grain, iron and stone to DEC pair. My shares added todays harvest is 302.243.893 DEC = 10,644.502 wood. Although my shares are small atleast my wood harvest are also earning. Now i got contribution of 1146.804 DEC and 40,384.796 Wood after adding todays harvest. Although they are small for now growing them slowly still a good way of increasing my contribution.
THOUGHTS
After harvesting my land, i think it is still good as it is still in a positive return. Alhough it is not as good as investing into hive with 10% plus APR. I believe land is still the future catalyst of what splinterland will be.
