Another week and another batch of improvements rolled in. Some changes were necessary, others were quality upgrades and a few came straight from community requests.
Here is what changed this round:
- upgrade to new next.js (security updates)
- start implement more SSR pattern
- add support for the new land set (beginning)
- add price impact calculator (request by @azircon)
- add totals in tradehub position (request by @azircon)

First the Necessary Update
There was a high security alert for the next.js and react framework. When something like that drops you try to act immediately so all my projects using next.js got updated. This was small patch but i directly did some updates to align with the new vision and to prepare the platform for stronger SSR support in the future. This took a lot of time and not near to where i want it to be.
A bit of work but worth it for stability and long term growth.
Support Land Set
The new land cards launched last week. They introduced changes in the data structure so I patched the running instance to keep everything working while I started digging into the new attributes.
This is the first screen that now shows a summary of the land cards placed on a plot.
On the left you see the count of plots that have a certain land card ability.
Important to know that this is the count of plots, it is not the total boost amount.
On the right you see the PP reported by the API.
Right now we see around 8.04M boosts on bountiful resource. This is not split by resource yet but while writing this I realized that it can be separated without too much effort. Something for next week.
Bloodline sits at about 1.1M PP.
It is nice to finally see how much impact these cards have on the total PP.
You can also filter for rarity. For example, you can check how many land cards are placed on common plots.
One thing that really stood out. I found one land card placed on a mythic plot. That is not the most useful place for it but the DEC discount could be the reason. Interesting to see anyway.
Price Impact Calculator
This feature was requested by @azircon. When you move larger amounts in the trade hub the price impact can matter quite a bit.
You can now enter either a DEC amount or a resource amount and the calculator will show you the impact on price.
The info is cached for a few seconds so it is basically real time based on the SPL API.
Useful for anyone managing bigger stacks.
Totals
A simple but important addition. The totals in the tradehub position were missing and @azircon spotted it. So these totals are now displayed as well.
Note that the totals reflect the date stamp when the data was recorded. This is important to keep in mind.

Closing Notes
That wraps up the update for this week. There is still a lot to build. I want to bring the land set deeper into the application. That means a deed overview, better support in the planning tool import and more SSR work across the whole app.
Only the new component and admin page are updated so far but it is a solid start.
