Daphne felt an odd warmth on her arm.

She blinked confused at the red in her hand as it came away from her arm.

"Daphne!", came Alestair, "you've cut yourself"

Daphne moved backwards, dropping the sword onto the rug.

"Miss!", screamed the maid, entering with the tea things, she moved across the room and absent-mindedly shoved the tray into Alestair's arms.

The maid wrapped her mistress's arm with a bit of torn apron and motioned to Alestair to set the tea things down.

"Pour out some strong tea" the maid ordered, "and add plenty of sugar".

Alestair, bewildered, did as the maid instructed.

An odd tableau, the trio made: The shocked Daphne, clutching her arm, the diligent maid, a nurse in the making, and the bewildered artist, holding a plate of buns and the sword.

"What happened, miss?" came the maid.

"I'm not quite sure, I was holding the sword, to write an article, and then Mr. Acrimony came at me"

"I did no such thing!" retorted the artist. "I was simply admiring your drawings and you went all red, swooned and tapped your arm with the sword."

The maid was out the door to get the doctor. Alestair moved closer to Daphne.

Daphne felt an odd warmth on her arm.

Great and bloody drama! I will see when I get time for Ludo, but many things to sample here.

I made a title head for you btw. Here

Oh this is exciting, thanks. I'll edit this now with it!

High drama indeed. Our little world keeps on expanding.

Nice first and last sentences!

That'll teach her to raise swords on high! Or maybe it will bring her a true love.
