Peter looks at Mark with disdain. "Why are you looking like someone who just won a lottery? We haven't had any food for two days" Peter said.

Peter is 15 years of age, he is 5ft tall, fair and has dark wooly hair. His younger brother Mark is 13 years old, he is 4ft tall. Peter works in a wine factory. His duty is to count the cartons of wine that are produced. While Mark just runs errands for the factory workers. The two siblings are well known in their community because of what happened to them 3 years ago.

It was a bright sunny Saturday morning Mr and Mrs Smith were having breakfast when someone knocked on the door. "Are you expecting anyone?" Mr Smith asked his wife "No darling"she replied. "Let me get the door," Mrs Smith said. She opened the door and two masked men pushed her into the living room. Mr Smith shouted "who are you guys and what are you looking for?" One of the masked men said "shut up and sit down". The masked men removed their masks and everyone laughed. It was John and Wayne, friends of the Smiths. They were just pulling a prank on the Smiths. "What's smelling?" John asked. Wayne replied "It smells like gas''. Then there was a loud blast and the house was engulfed with fire. No one survived.

Peter and Mark waited for their parents to pick them up from school but no one came and they decided to walk home by themselves. On getting to their house, they saw a large crowd and they were confused. An elderly woman hugged them and told them what had happened. The boys cried and could not be consoled.

Peter and Mark started working at the factory in order to meet up with their daily needs and they were loved by all the factory workers because of how hard working they are.

On this fateful evening, Peter and Mark were returning from the factory when they met an old lady on the way . "Please can you help me with my bag" the woman said. "Leave us alone Peter" replied. "Peter, that is rude of you" Mark says to Peter. "Let me help you Ma" Mark said.

"What is you name young boy?" The old lady asked . "My name is Mark, and I'm 13 years old" Mark replied her. She smiled at him as the walked along the lonely path. The lady halted and turned to Mark "where are you parents young boy?" "They are dead, Ma" Mark replied, "it's a pity my son that you have to go through such pains". "Thank you for helping me out with my bags" the old lady said with a smile.

"This is my house" the lady said, "it's so beautiful and classy" Mark said. Mark was captivated by the beauty of the house. "Let me bring a little gift for you" the lady said as she walked into the house. She returns with a small wooden box and hands it over to Mark. "Thank you Ma for the gift" Mark said as he gets the wooden box from the woman.

Mark wondered what was in the wooden box. "How many children does she have?" Mark asked himself as he was walking on the lonely path.
Mark opened the wooden box and it was a box of treasure. He could not believe his eyes as the treasures glittered. Mark closed the box ran to inform Peter about the box of treasure.

"Why are you panting like a dog?" Peter asked. "I just struck gold" Mark replied. "You must be joking" Peter said as he walked away. "Look at this" Mark opened the wooden box and Peter shouted "where did you get that from!!!!". Mark smiled and replied Peter "the old lady I helped with her bags". Peter smiled and said to Mark "This wooden treasure box has changed our lives forever".

Imagine Mark was also rude to the old lady, they would still be working at the factory. It good to be good, you never know which good deeds will eventually change your life.
