Ade and Jide was really close friends from the childhood days that most time they are always seen as twins because of the existing relationship between them.
They do things together, move together and talk together even dated back to the school says, the go to schools together and come back home together though they are from different parents.
They have this existing bound that it will be very difficult for you at first not to noticed that they are not from the parents. In fact people regard to them as the twins friends.
As they begin to grow and grow, they begin to advance to the real scene of life. They both went to the same university and graduated the same year though they study different courses. Ade studied Mass communication while Jide studied Political science.
After leaving school, they look for jobs for many years but all to no avail. They went to different interviewed, they passed many interviewed and sometimes they even thought they will be called upon to work but all to no avail as they were not able to get a job.
They begin to lose hope and getting frustrated about life looking at the situation they have been passing through and also looking at their friends making it or their mate rather.
One faithful day, they were just coming back from the farm as they normally do on Saturday in order to add to what they can get to eat. They saw a bag hide under the tree. At first they look so terrified to try to walk towards it but Jide summoned the courage and the boldness to walk towards it. On getting there and opening the bag, Jide noticed a bag filled with money of different currency.
Ade looking astonishing how Jide react, went to His direction and saw the bag filled with money also. Ade suggested to Jide that the bag of money should be taken to the police station so as the owner should be fined and the bag of money should be returned back to the owner. Jide disagree claiming they should take this money and utilised it to become rich looking at the fact that they have been in poverty for many years.
The argument went on. When Ade took the bag on the ground and with a mind made up heading to the police station to return the money.
Jide was not pleased and wondering what can he really do to collect this Money from Ade. Wondering how to do it. A evil thought came to his mind. Without not even thinking that Ade is his close friend. He took a huge plank from the sideway around the bush and along the path that lead to the police station and hit Ade from the back, suddenly blood begins to gush out of Ade head and within few minutes he gave up the ghost.
Jide took up the bag and head back home. Gotten home, after few minuteshe heard a knock at his door, wondering who was it. He quickly rushed to hide the bag of money. Trying to return back to his normal state, he opened the door and saw three police man in front of him.
Unknown to Him, he was seen by a hunter when he killed Ade in the bush and the hunter rushed to report to the police. Jide was arrested and charged to court for murder. The judge asked Him why he killed His best friend Ade. He confess that he was afraid that Ade might return back the money to the police and then they both lose out of the money. He plead for Mercy and Confesses that 'Money Is Evil'.
He was sentence to death by hanging because of that act.
