I gazed long at my glassy reflection
and the ninth count still failed to look like mine

like a careless tune on new banjo strings?
The vibration of your honeyed laughter
has become the rhythm of my heartbeat;
the music that unsteady my thoughts steadily;
pulsating with every word you make

another joy,
