Los carnavales se celebran desde épocas muy antiguas, más de lo que imaginamos, siempre asociamos los carnavales con Brasil, pero no son los creadores de los carnavales, se celebra en muchas partes a nivel mundial desde muchos siglos.
Los disfraces vienen desde la antigüedad, debido a que disfrazados podían hacer cosas y nadie descubriría a nadie debido a los disfraces. Recuerdo a mi abuela contar algunas anécdotas de hombres que se disfrazaban de negritas, era algo que sacaba muchas risas, me encanta escuchar a mi padre decir, que se disfrazó de negrita y mi abuela no lo reconoció. Luego le decía que un hombre disfrazado de negrita se le acercó y ella se asustó, pues, era mi padre.

Cuando yo estaba niña, viví un tiempo en Ciudad Bolívar, y lo que más me gustaba de los carnavales eran los desfiles las hermosas, carrozas gigantescas, los caramelos que nos lanzaban. Aquí en Valencia se hacían las carrozas por toda la Avenida Bolívar, realmente eran majestuosa, deleitaban al pueblo valenciano con esas carrozas. En Puerto Cabello también veía todo eso, pero eran más fuertes los días de carnaval era puro mojar con todo lo que encontraban a su paso. Hacían charcos preparados con barro, harina, pintura, lanzaban huevos, bombas con agua y otras con pintura, todo lo que inventaban con eso jugaban.

Otra de las cosas que me gustaba de Carnaval, era que no tenía que ir al colegio, me sacaban a pasear, jugaba con mis vecinitos, en fin, fue una hermosa época, tenemos que mantener siempre la alegría y el gozo, ese compartir entre amigos y familiares, eso es el carnaval.
Sé que cada persona tendrá su experiencia con los carnavales, quizás algunos buenas experiencias y otros malas, pero no podremos negar que la época de nosotros los que estamos adultos, fue maravillosa, muchas cosas han cambiado en la actualidad, por eso como sociedad debemos mantener las bonitas y sanas tradiciones.

Disfruté leyéndote, los disfraces son lo mejor, me dió risa eso de que los hijos querrán ser mormones ´para no disfrazarse pero tienes razón a veces ni les preguntamos. Nunca había escuchado de un disfraz de arroz, sería genial una foto de eso. Gracias por compartir tu experiencia. Un abrazo
Ja,ja,ja ahora entiendo a las otras religiones no gastan nada en carnaval ni semana santa ja,ja,ja menos en navidad. Muchas gracias por apoyar mi trabajo, saber que saqué una sonrisa es mundial. Primero se debe ser muy blanca para ese disfraz, tener una cara con la mirada perdida algo lánguida, una franelilla blanca, medias blancas panty, una faldita mínima confeccionada con papel crepé y dejarte pegar mucho arroz en el cuerpo.
Segura alguna maestra tomó una foto de ese disfraz, yo contaba con 5 añitos.

Tengo varios años sin ver carrozas decoradas por el carnaval, desde mis días en la escuela creo... lindo post estoy de acuerdo contigo el carnaval es una época para compartir con los amigos y vecino y tambien para alegrar un poco a los pueblos, me gustó leerte! Saludos!
