So, Today I wanted to share with you guys other things that have been missing In my post yesterday. In fact, while thinking of it in my way home today, I realized that there are many more things I would like to post and discuss with you guys. If you want to join me, and take some time of your day I’d be much appreciated.
A little insight of mine
In the beginning I did not have access to a lot of cards in GU as a P2E playa. But that did did not stop my grind! I trust my gameplay, and there’s ALWAYS the “heart of cards” factor for Yu-Gi-Oh fans 🙂.. which means, I trust in my deck! You feel me?
A little bit of what I experienced
First of all, to get myself some new cards, I used the starter decks of all classes one-by-one. Well, if they’re there and I did not have other cards it was the logical way hahaha 😏.
Played a few Vs. AI games (geez they’re good too), and as soon as I started winning some, I got anxious to fight my first adversary!! 💪I was having fun to learn each class’s particularity, and the moment I was expecting nothing, a card pack popped into my screen! 🤩
This is a reward for leveling up, and to level up you don’t even need to win, only to play. By the way, just click "continue" and go to "Open Packs" section on the top of lobby screen.. should look like this: (quick tutorial 😁 bros, in case you need)
When you see this beautiful screen right there, you just place your new GU Pack to see what you get 😂😂:
Imagine a pull like this!!! 👀👀 this guy sure is Happy hahaha.. That card right there is very rare guys.. 2nd from right to left.
Aight', back on track.
Then I realized that this should be the way. So I kept going on my happy F2P grind, and I even got some ranks up! I felt realized for understanding that this is the way!! I was getting access to my own crypto-cards, and soon I would be able to build my own deck!
Another precious thing I got, was class acknowledgment. Their cards, but especially the God Power that is for sure game changing.At that point I was very confident and had a little luggage from card packs and game-experience, so it was about time to put those two in test.
I love aggro decks and with this in mind I started searching for Auros (God of War) and Aeona (Goddess of Nature) decks, which I thought would match my play style..

Delicate as a flower, deadly as thorn.
What really helped me was the graphic the Database gives us of our deck!! So I knew wich way to follow, grabbing cards that would help me in my aggro such as buff cards, protected, cards that summons other creatures or cards with damage roar effects. 🤔
This is early pressure! 👀
For my play style, board control is very important! I need to protect my creatures from incoming wipes, while attacking the opposite god! Less creatures means potential problem for me! I need lots of creatures cards too.
Next up I jumped into a ranked match and had success 😅, from later on I started doing this every time I have difficulties in deck making.The possibilities are a lot! This at first glance can give us some fear of what we don't know-- though my boy Hyperion would say otherwise 😄
But we need to try for us to know it right? Also, be careful to meta changes, keep checking database if you feel like your win rate has lowered.. just a few adjustments and you might be on the way.
Confidence can win games. 😉 When I play against good players, their game rythm is in a whole other level! Adjusting my pace (at least from what I felt) can make the opponent respect me more.
