Today I went for a walk along the Canal path into Town, just for a change of scenery really. Not for any particular reason as I was not sure if any of the shops would be open (most were closed anyway). On the way there I noticed the kids on these "Paddle Boards" (I think that's what they are called).
Kind of a strange mixture of being a Kayak and a Surfboard, but not one or the other. You either lay on them or sit on them, rather than siting inside it like you would on a Kayak. I can just about read the advertising words printed on the side of the "Paddle Boards" being: "Sandbanks Style Ultimate". Which I can only assume is the manufacturer name and style of model.
Anyway, the kids seemed to be having fun and were well supervised by a couple of adult instructors. From what I could see, just from watching them on the other side of the Canal.

Yes they did , down voting is simply theft ~ If you give your child dinner, then took it away ? What would you can that ?
See this is a common mistake. You do not own rewards until after 7 days and they are in your wallet. Until it is up to the community to decide what your content is worth.
That is even worse! It's like giving your child Birthday presents all wrapped up , then taking them all away after 6 days (just one day before their Birthday).
How would your child feel? Happy?
If you really want to go with that analogy, it would be like finding out your child had stolen toys from other children, and the consequence of their actions would be to take the toys back, as well as not rewarding them with more toys.
Steal content on Hive = rewards removed
Recycle content on Hive = rewards removed
Abuse the terms of a community coin = rewards removed
It's not rocket science, it's culpability for malfeasance. In other words, bad behavior is punished, not rewarded. Try to spin it any way you like, the downvotes are a direct result of your actions.

The age limit on Hive is 13 years or higher. So that wouldn’t even be a problem.
So you are saying that your child would not mind her presents being taken away? I think she would? At any age.
Down Votes are depressing and destroy motivation, makes users power down and leave HIVE.
I would rather pay 0.25 Hive to post (with no downvote button). That's how it is on BLURT.
